Paid Ad frauds

Many websites who claim to pay for viewing ads exist. But many are fradulent. One such is http://www.paidtoclick.com
The most amazing thing about this is that it has a pay out limit of $1 which you hope to get asap. But beware, you'll be stuck at $0.5 and every link you open will say LINK EXPIRED. Whereas the site would get its money as you won't stop clicking.

E-Sata?

Today, I had the "pleasure" of going to Hafeez Centre. Those who do not know, Hafeez Centre is probably the biggest electronics market in Lahore. Well, what I had gone there for were a few printable DVDs but after I entered I felt the urge to check for a hard drive enclosure. Hard Drive enclosures are cases made to store and move normal hard drives. What I was looking for was an enclosure with an eSata connection as USB data transfer rates are slower and the constant need of back up makes it essential to look for a faster alternative. What I experienced there is a tale worth telling. Not only did I not find an enclosure which allowed transfer through eSata, none of the vendors I went to had even heard of the term. This was a bit surprising as Hafeez Centre houses the newest technologies, and to not find an electronic device there was a first for me.
The only reason I could think of for the absence of an eSata enclosure was the limited use the technology has been put too. USB connections dominate the market. Sure enough, all the portable hard drives that I have window-shopped were also allowing data transfer only through USB. I hope Pakistan moves on and embraces new technologies like eSata and the more recent USB 3.0.
